How do I make a referral?
Call 507-359-9111 to speak with a trained staff, available 24 hours a day.
What is the average length of stay?
The average length of stay is 48 to 72 hours, this can exclude weekends and/or holidays.
Can I smoke?
No, we are a tobacco/smoke free facility. Nicotine patches are available if needed.
Can I get an assessment while I'm at Detox?
ASI Chemical Use Assessments are completed with no charge to the patient. Staff can assist patients in scheduling a Rule 25 assessment.
Will I have my own room?
You may have a roommate. If there is a need for a single room, arrangements may be made if space is available.
Are meals provided?
Lunch and dinner are catered to the facility. Breakfast, snacks, juice, milk, and fruit are available and are self-serve.
Can I have visitors?
Visitation is currently restricted due to COVID-19.
How young can a referral be?
We are licensed to take referrals as young as 13 years old.
Is my stay confidential?
Yes. BCEC follows HIPPA. HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is United States legislation that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information.
Do you prescribe withdrawl medication?
Yes, we provide withdrawal medication if needed, under the direction of our facility physician and nurses.
Do you bill insurance
We submit claims to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health Partners, Medica, United Behavioral Health, and United Health Care. Insurance plans vary, this is not a guarantee that these providers pay.
